storms here over the past month and a half. this one doing pretty good for us right now. we're going to track the rain in a minute. as we've been mentioning, it is a cold storm system. los gatos with a high of 89 degrees. then this morning we had 58. numbers dropping down into the 40s. a daytime high will be colder than that morning low we experienced. as far as the rainfall goes right now. we're tracking more moderate to pockets of heavy rainfall down into parts of the south bay. you can see down in south san jose, a little heavier downpoor on your way for coopertino. and then morgan hill and gilroy, you're about to get slammed with heavier rainfall. the 101 commute probably not a good idea to leave over the next half hour. it's going to be coming down and quick. we'll take you outside right now. the time lapse from the emeriville camera. you can see the cloud tops up at about 20,000 feet. that's a decent amount of uplift that may bring us the thunderstorms. what you're going to note here, as the low pressure moves over the next 24 hours, thunderstorms will be possible, even potenti
